The Landscape in Yunnan

Yunnan province,a piece of beautiful and magic land,where as many as 26 ethnic minorities live in which 15 peoples are local originals.In the long process of history,affected by its unique,geographical and social environment,the diversified styles of cultures for different peoples have been formed.Its unique architecture,colorful clothes,different ways of wedding ceremonies,festival celebrations,folk customs and etc. have drawn up a series of rich colored pictures with the local customs of different peoples attracting thousands of overseas tourists to pay a visit.

China is one of the main sugar production and consuming countries in the world.Through more than ten years’ efforts by the industry,China’s sugar industry has made a considerable progress with respect to a stable growth of sugar yield and improvement competitive power.China’s sugar industry,playing a more and more important role in national economy,has made a great contribution to the increase of farmers’ income in sugar raw material growing provinces and regions making a great contribution to development and stablization of the local economic development in border regions. China's sugar industry,though having gained some primary achievement,still has deficiencies and a long way to go with respect to its slow progress in technology and lack of self-innovation and competition.The Eleventh Five Year Plan Period is the critical time for the development of China's actual condition and sugar industry,how to import the advanced applicable foreign technology and equipment,improve technical levels of the whole sugar industry and quality of the products.Therefore China Sugar Association,on the basis of successful organization of the Technical Development Conference 2004 determines to once again organize Chinese Sugar Industry Technology & Development Conference and 2006 Kuning International Exhibition On Hi-Tech & New Equipment for suger Industry in April 2006 in Kunming,China.

Theme of the show

Give publicity to the achievement of Chinese sugar industry development,display the present Chinese Sugar Technology and equipment and build up a platform for an exchange of technologies between Chinese and foreign sugar industries to promote the technological cooperation between Chinese and foreign sugar industries sharing the good seeds and high effiecient growing way for sugar materials,well spread the advanced technologies and equipment to push forward technical innovationsin Chinese sugar industry lifting up the comprehensive competing capabilities in Chinese sugar industry to ensure the technical progress and healthy development in Chinese sugar industry.
